Carl F. Rella, born in New Rochelle, New York, attended Colby College from which he graduated with high honors in 1977.  He has been a member of the Maine Bar since graduating from George Washington University School of Law in 1980 and is admitted to practice before all Maine courts, the Federal District Court for Maine and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Throughout his career, Carl has gained extensive trial experience throughout the state representing clients in all aspects of civil litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury, property damage and insurance coverage litigation.  Carl is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, Maine Trial Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute and Northern New England Defense Counsel Association.

Shaun B. Lister, born in Bangor, Maine, attended the University of Maine from which he graduated in 1989 with high distinction and the University of Maine School of Law, where he obtained his JD in 1993. Shaun became a founding partner of the firm Rella & Lister, P.A. in 2001, and served as a partner of the firm until June 17, 2005 when he left private practice to accept employment as an officer with the JAG Corps for the active duty Army where he now serves. Prior to leaving private practice, Shaun served as President of the Penobscot County Bar Association in 2002. In 2004 Shaun was appointed to the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of Hampden, Maine. Shaun has long had an interest in military service. In 1998, Shaun enlisted in the Maine Army National Guard, serving first with Company B of the 3\172 Infantry (Mountain) in Brewer Maine. In 2004, Shaun accepted an appointment as an officer in the JAG Corps. for the Maine Army National Guard and served as trial counsel for the 240th Engineer Group (Combat) in Augusta, Maine. Shaun is currently serving with the 4th Infantry Division, Ft. Hood, TX.
